Honda motors with distributors mounted at the end of the intake camshaft are notorious for ignition timing drift especially at high load, high power, high rpm and even more pronounced with valvetrain upgrades. This is often caused by a combination of timing belt stretch, belt harmonics, valve train loads and the clearance of the mechanical drive on the distributor! Good bye to dead distributors and good bye to scattered ignition timing!

✔ Unlike other B series trigger kit on the market, our kit allows you to run power steering, any cam gear you wish and retain all timing belt covers. OBD1 kit requires minor cutting of the lower timing belt cover to clear the trigger wheel.

! It is required to power up the sensors via regulated power source such as your ECU's 5V, 8V or 12V output (not to be confused with ECU 12V input from main relay). Even though the sensors are new from factory, we bench test each sensor prior to dispatch to ensure that it is 100% in working order. The warranty does not cover damaged sensor(s) from incorrect wiring, physical damage or from not using a regulated power source to power the sensors.
! You will need to transfer over the cam drive key from your old distributor to the cam sensor unit (2 minute job) OR purchase the cam drive key option above.
! You may need to assign one ECU output to the OEM instrument cluster for RPM gauge read out.
! NOT Compatible with PowerFC or any ECU that utilises OEM Honda Board i.e. Hondata, Crome, Neptune etc. It is far more cost effective to run full standalone ECUs that gives you more features/tuning parameters off the box than buying an ECU that relies on 30 year old Honda board and only have to spend more to buy add-on modules for COP or trigger conversion.

Really nice trigger kit.
By: Johan on 25 August 2025Put it on our B18 and it worked flawlessly, really impressed by the kit. Neat installation with good instructions. Also for those wondering, it can be used with an ACL pump (or similar casting) you just need to do some grinding on the outside of the pump as well.
